Our Love Story

Rebecca and Britinni’s love story is one for the books… equal parts serendipity, hilarious twists, and a bit of destiny. It all started in early 2018 at a Mexican restaurant group, where fate decided to play matchmaker. Rebecca, freshly transferred as the general manager to open up a new location, was busy setting the stage for success. Meanwhile, Britinni received a tip from our dear friend and former manager, Peter, to come apply for a job. And wouldn’t you know it? Britinni got the job, eventually becoming Rebecca’s employee… sparking a connection that was as unexpected as it was delightful.

When Rebecca later moved on to Icebox, guess who followed? Peter, of course, becoming not only Rebecca’s manager but also a dear friend. Then, almost like a scene from a perfectly scripted rom-com, Britinni reappeared—this time at Icebox—where she became part of the team. With both Rebecca and Britinni navigating serious relationships and commitments at the time, it seemed the timing wasn’t quite right. But as life would have it, destiny was patiently waiting.

Fast forward to June 2021: now in leadership roles at different Icebox locations, the two finally found themselves with a little extra room in their hearts. Their bond deepened as they shared laughs, wild adventures, and even tackled escape rooms together. And in a nod to traditional lesbian romance (complete with the legendary U-Haul and a couple of tattoos sealed on their skin!), the spark ignited into a blazing, unforgettable flame. From that memorable June day onward, there was simply no turning back.

Today, Rebecca and Britinni celebrate a partnership built on mutual support, shared adventures, and a dedication to lifting each other up through every twist and turn. They can’t wait to write the next chapter of their lives—surrounded by the love of friends, family, and a lifetime of laughter.
